I've never looked for a label to describe who I am or what I make. I follow instinct, letting emotion, memory, and chance shape the work until something unexpected takes form. My paintings are traces of that process; bold, intuitive, and always reaching for the unknown.

Ian Rayer-Smith born in Farnham, England in 1970 is a contemporary abstarct painter whose work draws on the techniques of the renaissance and Abstract Expressionism while forging a bold modern language. His Paintings are held in collections across the UK, Europe, Usa, Asia, ad Australia. Ian has exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions internationally. He has also had his artwork involved in major projects for corporate clients globablly.
