Luca Brandi
Luca Brandi brings a different kind of stillness to the presentation.
Born in Florence, Brandi’s practice is rooted in abstraction, emotion and sensation. Through restrained colour, layered surfaces and carefully balanced compositions, his paintings create an atmosphere that feels contemplative yet quietly powerful.
His work has been exhibited internationally and can be found in private collections, museums and high-end projects.
Within the Minotti setting, Brandi’s paintings demonstrate how subtle abstraction can transform a room without overpowering it. They invite you closer.
Ian Rayer-Smith
Ian Rayer-Smith introduces a more expressive energy.
Drawing inspiration from sources ranging from the Old Masters to contemporary culture, his paintings explore movement, emotion and instinctive gesture while retaining a sense of classical composition.
The result is work that feels both familiar and unexpected — bringing movement, personality and visual tension into an interior.
Alongside the quieter materiality of Wieslander and the meditative abstraction of Brandi, Rayer-Smith adds another layer to the presentation.
Three artists. Three distinct visual languages. One carefully considered environment.

A beautifully designed sofa can define the proportions of a room.
A table can introduce a material.
Lighting can completely change its mood.
But art often provides the element that makes the space personal.
It creates a focal point. It introduces emotion. It gives the eye somewhere to travel and, ultimately, gives a room its own identity.
That is what makes seeing these works at Minotti London so valuable.
You are not being asked to imagine how a painting might look above a sofa or against a particular wall colour.
You can already see it. You can experience the proportions. You can see how the artwork responds to the furniture around it. You can watch the surface change in the light.
And sometimes, that is all it takes. A painting that you might have admired in isolation suddenly becomes the piece you cannot imagine the room without.

There is a quiet confidence to Wieslander’s work.
The paintings do not fight with an interior for attention. Instead, their layered surfaces, natural tones and subtle changes in texture create depth and atmosphere around them.
Within the Minotti showroom, surrounded by beautifully considered furniture and materials, that quality becomes particularly apparent. These are works that reward looking twice.

Where contemporary art meets exceptional interior design.
There is a moment when a room stops feeling beautifully designed and starts feeling truly complete.
Very often, that moment comes with the art.
Art Concepts London is delighted to present a new selection of contemporary works at Minotti London, bringing together Mats Wieslander, Luca Brandi and Ian Rayer-Smith within one of London’s most refined interior environments.
At the heart of the presentation is Swedish artist Mats Wieslander, with more than ten works placed throughout the showroom, alongside a considered selection of paintings by Luca Brandi and Ian Rayer-Smith.
The idea behind the collaboration is simple: art is best experienced where it is ultimately meant to live.
Not in isolation, but alongside furniture, lighting, architecture and materials — where you can immediately understand how a work changes the atmosphere of a space.
Contemporary Art at Minotti London
Seeing art inside a beautifully resolved interior creates a very different experience from seeing it on a traditional gallery wall.
At Minotti London, the paintings become part of the room.
You notice how the scale relates to a sofa or console. How a colour within the artwork picks up the warmth of timber or the coolness of stone. How texture changes as the light moves across the surface.
And, perhaps most importantly, you can immediately imagine living with it.
This relationship between contemporary art and interior design is central to the way Art Concepts London works. The right artwork should not feel like the final decorative addition to a room. It should feel integral to it.
Mats Wieslander at Minotti
With more than ten works currently on view, Mats Wieslander forms the largest part of the Art Concepts London presentation at Minotti London.
The Swedish artist is known for richly textured works exploring materiality, light and atmosphere. Inspired by nature, landscape and organic forms, Wieslander builds his paintings through layers of texture and tone, creating surfaces that reveal new details depending on the light and the position of the viewer.
Works including Silent Rain, Eden, Reflection, Äng (Meadow) and Amber Dusk No. 1 & 2 show the range of his practice, from restrained tonal compositions to large-scale pieces with an almost architectural presence.
